# Privacy Notice

The **Personal Memory-Based File Advisor** is designed as a local, browser-based advisory tool.

## Local Use

The app runs in the user's browser.

It does not upload files to a server.
It does not move, delete, or modify files.
It does not scan the user's file system automatically.
It analyses a file only when the user manually imports it through the browser file input.

## File Analysis

When a file is imported, the app may use browser-available information such as:

- file name;
- file type;
- file size;
- last modified date;
- readable text content, where the browser can read it directly.

Some formats, such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, scanned documents, or images, may provide only filename and basic metadata unless additional parsing features are added later.

## Local Browser Storage

The app may use local browser storage for simple user preferences, such as remembering whether the privacy notice has been accepted.

This information stays in the user's browser unless the user clears browser data.

## Feedback Email

The feedback form uses the user's email client through a `mailto:` link.

The message is sent only if the user chooses to send it through their email client.

## No Tracking

The app does not include analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking scripts.
